The municipality of Bodegraven-Reeuwijk was established by a merger of Bodegraven and Reeuwijk in 2011. It is situated in the so called ‘Groene Hart’ of The Netherlands. Bodegraven-Reeuwijk has more than 34.000 inhabitants.

There are two national roads (A12 and A4) and two provincial roads (N11 and N-459) that run through the municipality. You can also travel by public transport to Bodegraven-Reeuwijk, by train (intercity Utrecht-Leiden) and by bus 178 (to Gouda).
